Back to the future: two years of Google Chrome

In August 2008, JavaScript was 10 times slower, HTML5 support wasn’t yet an [...]

From my Google Reader Trends: "From your 331 subscriptions, over the last 30 days you read 9,475 items, clicked 432 items, starred 0 items, shared 8 items, and emailed 0 items. Since May 27, 2010 you have read a total of 29,526 items."
Unfortunately that doesn't take into account my use of Reader in my Google Account, before I changed to Full Accounts by end of May.

Fullscreen and more!
As Google Reader is all about reading, we thought we should give our users a chance to maximize their screen space whenever possible... thus fullscreen mode was born. You can toggle the fullscreen mode through the 'f' key. Additionally, you can use 'shift + u' to show and hide the navigation panel so you can easily change what you're reading without leaving fullscreen mode. Eagle-eyed viewers might have also noticed we've added a new category to the trends page: clicked trends - now you can [...]

If it stays as cool as of now (12 °C here in Hamburg) I will ask my landlord to pull up the heating. Damn, it's August ‒ not January.
